Importing waypoints

Hello,

I would like to import a big bunch of waypoints into FiF. How can I do this easy ? What format should be used for importing waypoints. Is it possible to summarize them in one file for importation ?

HI Peter,

Importing waypoints to FiF is quite simple.

You can import points in google earth .KML, .GPX, or FiF .GIW formats

Importing a text table like this (.WPT) also works fine:

-49.651517;-26.434650;ABEAR;
-48.645917;-26.333200;ATAK;

these are (west) longitude;latitude;waypoint_name; coordinates can be both decimal degress as above or DDD:MM:SS
