Extended runway line inbound/outbound

Postby flyyyer » 20 Oct 2013, 20:29

I alway use FIF even when on a short flight so that my logbook is up to date. I usually set the destination airport and runway direction and then if the airport is not busy, I can just join downwind or base leg etc reference the extended green line. Hands up all of you that have not made an initial approach to an airport towards the reciprocal runway. It is very easy to do. FIF draws a single colour green extended center line, for inbound and outbound. We now have a arrow and tail within the compass rose; that was a great addition. Would it be possible to differentiate between the inbound line and the outbound line? For example, light green inbound, darker green outbound or anything that works to differentiate. Yes I know i'm stupid but that is why I have a computer to do the work for me....
Thanks for all the great work, I can't do without this program now. Peter G.

Thanks for the inbound green arrow in ver 12.61. A simple but subtle addition which now makes it clear which way you should be heading. No more heading to a reciprocol runway. Many thanks Petr. Regards Peter G.
