Is it possible to have a search for a way point or airfield that does not require to navigate trough the folders?

Yes, long tap Find button. All buttons in nav item list have two functions. Try long and short press them...

Works great except for one minor issue

I use SwiftKey and it auto adds a trailing space if i choose an entire word.

this then always fails in the search.

any chance the search could trim leading/trailing spaces when searching
