I have started discovering FlyIsFun in details.
The user manual is well done and very comprehensive.
However, I was not able to find the answer to these questions (or maybe I triggered some bugs):
1- Page 107: "Then place WPT and RWY in the airfield folder and the folder in “My WPT” folder." How can I specify the folder where the new Waypoint is created?
I get them on the top level and did not find a "move" function, nor for Wpt, nor for folders.
2- Is there a way to change the width of the airspace contours; I find them rather big for controlled or special use airspaces, and there are many in Belgium.
=> Update: there is a possibility to make the airspace contour less visible by setting the "fill" colour as transparent in the display settings
3- The manual explains that a runway can be copied and then changed into an ILS approach.
However, when I try to do this on an existing airport (World database), but the "copy" button is greyed out.
I tried to export it and import into the "My WPT" folder, but this is not allowed (cannot copy from the World database).
4- Page 120: I was able to export a route from Navigation (Fouchet) in FlyIsFun format (.GIR), but when I try to import it on FIF, I get the message "0 routes imported".
No error message, but the import does not work. What did I miss?
5- Page 121: The export does not work if I select one of the proposed folders (by default, the µSD card is proposed): "opening error".
I can export only if I select the internal memory and navigate to a folder there.
Is there a way to get "internal memory" proposed by default.
6- VAC: For most of the EB and LF airfields, I get two files in the PDF_System folders: VAC.PDF and XXXX_VAC.PDF, where XXXX = ICAO code.
Often, both PDF files are identical, but sometimes, the VAC.PDF file contains an older release of the VAC.
This could be linked to the selection of both VFR and VFR+ULM in the PDF import.
7- When I navigate in the options/parameters menus to explore them, it triggers a restart of the application even if I did not change anything.
Then, every time, I have to accept the trial period, the usage warning and the "GPS off" warning.
8- When should the "Rebuild database indexes" function be used?
9- If I use the function "proximity" on my favourite airfield EBTX and I select VHF, the frequency appears twice:
- "THEUX", with a "P" followed by a green dot
- "Verviers RDO", with a "P" followed by a red dot
Same happens with other airfields.
Why twice and what is the meaning of this green or red dot?
10- I am a bit concerned that the airspace proximity function only provides results when the airspaces are displayed on the screen.
I would indeed precisely use it to query about airspaces in the vicinity even if I have filtered them out at the selected zoom level.
Usually, such function is indeed not depending on the selected zoom level.

=> Update: Is there a way to highlight an airspace displayed in the proximity list? A short click has no effect and the long click only proposes the edit or export.
11- Most of my applications use maps in .mbtiles format, while FIF uses .sqlitedb
These formats are rather similar.
Any chance to have the .mbtiles format supported in FIF?
12- The EBLG airport has 5 TMA sectors, but only TMA1 and TMA2 are of interest for me because the other sectors are only active in night time.
Is there a possibility to switch them off without loosing them?
I changed their type into a type that I do not display to achieve this, but there might be a better way.
Thank you in advance for helping me.
Some questions can probably only be answered by the author, but I am sure that experienced users have the answer to the other questions.
