Unable to import nav data on Oneplus 2 / OxygenOS

Postby jkaljundi » 29 Oct 2015, 10:24

Having some problems with Fly is Fun on the new Oneplus 2, running Android 5.1.1 / Oxygen 2.1.1.
The problem: nav data import process goes throguh fine, but after restart there is still no nav data. Multiple countries are selected, during the import it shows all goes well.

After the import I get:
Import OK
Checked items: 392524
Imported items: 40259
Restart
but after restart it always says nav database not found.

Map downloads work fine.

In Settings the data location points to /storage/sdcard0/GPS_ILS_VOR and that directory opens correctly, having Database, Elevation, Maps and Temp subfolders. During import the screen also says "creating folders" and there seems to be no error.

Is anyone else using it on similar configuration? It should be similar to standard Cyanogenmod of course, except may be fore the file paths.

Still no luck in importing the data :(
Data location path points to:
/storage/emulated/legacy/GPS_ILS_VOR
that directory after the nav data import has folder Database which has:
gpsilsvor.db ~8 MB
gpsilsvor.db-shm ~32KB
gpsilsvor.db-wal 0B
logbook.db 88KB
- should that be correct?
These files get rewritten at nav data import.
Topo maps are in ../Maps and are correctly found.

Why does the app still complain nav data not found? Any suggestions what to try next?

Hi,

Which version of FIF are you using?

I had a similar problem with FIF 17.10 running on Android 5.0.1

At this time, via GooglePlay
- FIF Unlocker was updated regularly
but
- FIF was staying at 17.10 , not updating

To solve the solve the problem, I had to uninstall FIF and then re-install it.
It then jumped to 17.30 version,

Since data update are performing well.
On my devices current version of FIF is 17.31

Using 17.31 unlimited.
Thanks for the thought though!

Tried copying the data from Nexus 5. After that it shows nav data as found, but nothing is shown on screen. After I do a new nav data import on Oneplus, it says nav data is not found again. But is shows the directories and files seem to be on correct location.

Not sure what I did, but it started working. I both played around with the folder locations, as well as Oneplus OxygenOS got some updates. I think the latter helped and there were some issues in their software with the virtual SD card support, which I see they fixed in recent updates. Anyway now the nav items show and database is found (have not tried importing it again). Let's assume it was their fault and all is good with your software. Thanks!
