Auto switch Waypoints- switch range

When following a route, the auto switch to the next waypoint seems to happen at a range of 1nm or less from the current waypoint
If you cut the corner outside this range auto switch doesn't happen.
Could this range be made user adjustable please?

Algorithm for switching WPTs is more complicated than checking distance only.
One of valures is the max distance from WPT, where is possible apply switching algorithm. This value can be adjustable at preferences.

Do you mean "Max nearest distance" this is already set at 100nm.

It is not in prefereces now. Next upgrade will have it and it will be called Max distance for switching WPT

Max nearest distance is max distance for searching the nearest objects...

Ah, sorry I misunderstood!

I think that will be a great improvement, to be able to adjust the autoswitch sensitivity .

For info: "Always switching DME" has a typo error, I think the last option should be 1500ft, not 150ft...... Could these options be made bigger say up to 2nm?
