PRIVACY POLICY of FLY is FUN

BT FINANCE s.r.o. (as the controller) respects the following rules as regards user data:

• We respect the privacy of our users, pay adequate attention to this area and take any and all adequate measures to secure data on our users and protect them against misuse.
• We comply with applicable personal data protection legislation.
• We do not collect data any statistical data for improving our services or this application at this moment.
• We do not share data with any third party
• Application does not require login.

Location services:

Data on your position are used in order to display your position in the map and to ensure correct functioning of the FLY is FUN.
If you switch-on a feature called Virtual Radar / Position sharing, your last position is stored on our server. This location will always overwrite the previous location. Other FLY is FUN users can then see your last position up to 24 hours ago. The data that is sent for location sharing is as follows:

• Anonymised identifier of your device (like a FIF1407539)
• Call sign of your aircraft (like a OK-ELC). If not filled in, the UN-KNOWN is sent.
• Name of the Aircraft (like a Cessna 172). If not filled in, empty string is sent.
• Aircraft designator (like a C172). If not filled in, ZZZZ is sent.
• GPS data: latitude, longitude, ground speed, vertical speed, bearing, time stamp

The user can delete shared data (last position) at any time in the program settings. In the default settings this function is disabled.
All other data is only stored locally on your device and will be automatically deleted when you uninstall the app.

Background location:

If you enable background location, the application will be fully functional even if it is in the background. It will log your flight and create a logbook entry when you land, warn you about entering controlled airspaces etc. In this case you will see the FLY is FUN icon in the status bar.
