Air space filtering when fliying

When fliying, you can filter the air space above you, this is, relative to your altitude, however, for VFR, any airspace beyond 10000 ft is not usefull on the mayority of the cases so, as we have the fixed altitude filter when no fliying, what about to have the same in flight mode?
