adjustable background colour

Hi,

Still the best app for me.
It runs very stable.

Looking for options to extend battery life I came up to the next request.

Is it possible to make the standard background colour adjustable by the user?

During flights in crowded airspace sometimes it's very helpful to switch off the background map to increase awareness of surrounding no-go areas.
The background then turns to grey.
Unfortunately this colour cannot be changed.
It would be very helpful if the background colour could be adjusted by the user to create a high contrast layout.

The main effect will be that the app can be safely used without a background map while saving power.
Implicating:
1. improvement of readability.
2. reducing cpu/gpu load.
3. lower screen brightness settings.

That seems a nice update. Sometimes I would like to have the bkg dark grey or even plain black for night approaches.

Hi Pitr,

do I see clouds in the display = weather data? Really? What data basis do you use for that?
Highly interesting...

Cheers,
Laotse

You see terrain :-) , but colors are like Garmin. You can set in in Preferences / terrain or tap AGL value on the massin screen

Maybe FIF will use rainfall data from radareu.cz .

Hi,

Almost happy.
A white or almost white background will do better, I think.
Airspace colours (bright blue, red et cetera) are contrasting perfectly on white and less on black.
Flying in bright sunlight (nice VFR weather so to speak 8-) ) a white background suits better.
As a result it's also possible to dimm the screen and extend battery life.
I was looking for something like a blank map (no topographic or terrain info at all, as this might distract attentention from staying out of restricted airspace) with a colour of choice.
