FLIGHT SIMULATOR INTEGRATION

Today we can use FLY IS FUN with the GPS data or Simulator mode.

I would like suggest a third way, where I will send via WIFI or BLUE TOOTH the flight data to the device where I run the the FLY IS FUN.

This mode would be usefull when we use the FUN FLY I together with the XPLANE or FLIGHT GEAR.

Right now I am testing FLY IS FUN on a GALAXY S III with BLUE TOOTH GPS APP ( I disabled the INTERNAL GPS , using MOCK LOC) and I send all the flight NMEA data from FLIGHT GEAR SIMULATOR running on my PC.

Have a look at "How to connect Xplane and Fly is Fun together" in Questions and answers page 2.

Hi Peter, thank you for your information.

I intend to use FIF in other Flight Simulators, in this simulators I am able to generate GPS data using NMEA protocol.

Today we run FIF with position from internal GPS DATA or SIMULATOR MODE. My suggestion is to add "EXTERNAL Blue Tooth GPS DATA".

With this option we will use NMEA protocol to send data to the FIF, I think that it is not too much work.

Hi Carlos, I am planning to add NMEA protocol and enable external bluetooth GPS...
Do you know something about NMEA?
