Hi, just wondering if there is an easy way to get access to the position coordinates. Might be handy one day when my position is requested through the radio....
So far I haven't found if it's available

Hi,

I'm not sure it's the right answer. When you tape "Menu/Tools and info", there is a lot of informations of the next waypoint (in a route) or the next "nav1". These informations are great but it is not the current position.
For me, when I must say my position on radio, I tape on waypoint, report point or VOR and I use radial and DME (on window informations).
For current position, I don't know if it's possible with an another way.

When you use Position info, there is LAT an LON rows - current latitude and longitude.

Many thanks Petr for this information, I thought that Lat and Lon was the position of the row "Name".
Sorry !

A previous suggestion I made was for a simple worded position information, automatically based upon nearest aviation references.

I.e. 5.2 miles ssw of Leeds Airport.
6 nm E of BCN.
8 nm S of DVT vor

9 miles NW Stratford town.

Yes I know you can work all this out and you have other info but this is a very quick way to understand and convey your position.

Just a suggestion ☺
