Viewing maps

I have the trial version and am very interested. From what I understand there are maps available in the app, and if I go to menu/import and download/terrain map download manager, I can see a number of maps downloaded, but they do not appear in the map screen. The map screen is just a grey background with the aviation data (airports, control zones etc.) overlaid. Additionally, the map that would cover my area, n45 to 50, and w75 to 80 (Ottawa Ont. Canada) is not in the list, and when I enter the lat/long in the downlaod manager, it doesn't give me the option to download, it just enters the info in the list of charts that appear to be already downloaded (marked with a green check mark) with a big red X beside it.

I think I really like the app, and appreciate the work you have put into it, but am hesitant to buy the full version unless the maps work

Also, can you import the FAA sectionals, because they cover most of the area that Fly in (Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec)?
