On the SD card, you can only use the Android/Data folder, because FIF creates indexes of the mbtiles databases and therefore needs write access.
This works fine.
In internal memory, the same scheme "Android/Data" works fine as well.
There, you can also specify an own folder, for example /FlyIsFun at top level; in this case detection of mbtiles does not work.
I detected the problem installing on an old tablet running Android 4.4, without write access to the SD card.
I installed FIF in a /FlyIsFun folder and all worked fine, except for the mbtiles.
Petr advised me to rather install FIF in Android/Data and this solved the problem.
