Computer - x-plane

it would be nice to use my computer to build the whole database, it take years in my cellphone (GT-S7562L), about a whole night.
i know some files of the database are in the logbook also other places, the PC could download those files to desktop program and compile all the database which would be years faster.

also, i use x-plane when im not flying, it would be nice to have a connection direct to it, without using GPS emulations (xplane to GPS) which locks my cellphone GPS, it only works again after a reset (even shutting down the program)

Which countries ere you importing?

We are developing now FSX to Android - you are right, after using mobile need restart, because of replacing GPS.

I am currently importing Brazils database.
Today I did it again for time information. I took 7:22 hours!

My cellphone just came out of a factory reset. So I have only fif installed.
The download took about 2 minutes.

Or try to delete gpsilsvor.db - there are all navigation data. Application will create new one...

yesterday i tryed what you said, deleted the ILSVOR file, downloaded the data for brazil and usa and left it importing overnight.

today morning i checked the cellphone and it was still importing! around 390000 airports, the cellphone was actually hot and connected to the charger.

i dont know whats happening. i did a factory reset on it 2 days ago.

hello again!

i was trying to find out why my cellphone was so slow.
after a few tests i found it!
it was the external SD card, it was the one making the whole thing slow since my cellphone uses the SD card as "processing memory".
it is a kingstone 2GB card, i will change to a 16GB, it should in theory be faster.
