FIF compatibility with anti-collision devices/software

Postby findan » 03 Feb 2017, 16:14

Many of the anti-collision devices on the market today are quite expensive, with a few exceptions.
One of the less expensive ones Pilotaware (not available at the moment), is compatible with SkyDemon and Air Navigation Pro.
However, as well as for so many other pilots, my favorite navigation software is Fly is Fun !
My suggestion is therefore to work for a future compatibility of Fly is Fun and Pilotaware.

Kind regards

Hi,

Because I am very interested in ADS-B stuff I designed my one ADS-B system.
I took some raspberryPi 3 in conjunction with a pretty cheap DVB-T receiver, dealing with
frequencies up to 1200 MHz, so I can receive my own transponder datas.
To get some data on to my tablett I installed dump1090 on my raspi as well as piaware
and flightradar24 and planefinder and flightaware,... so you have the choice.. :D ;)
How about FIF :P :D

Anyway what a great app your FIF

Best regards
Harry
