Hi,
I have noticed that when exporting a route planed in FiF with target altitudes added to all waypoints, the altitudes are not included in the resulting GPX (and I guess not in KML either). Would it be possible to make FiF add a <ele> tag in the GPX (and corresponding in KML) with the target altitude?
A small "sub-request": All waypoints to be duplicated except the first, but with the altitude from the precedent waypoint in the first copy and original altitude in the second. Why? If you load a planed rout GPX without duplicated waypoints in Google Earth for instance, and activating the elevation profile, all altitude changes will be linearly increased/decreased from one waypoint to the other. But if they are duplicated as I suggest, the elevation profile will show your planed vertical navigation with constant altitudes between waypoints.
Also, when importing a GPX route with altitude values in <ele> (and corresponding KML), FiF doesn't make any use of that altitude. Would it be possible to add this functionality?
A side note/request: I have noticed that FiF cannot import GPX tracks (KML tracks?). Why? to many points? It would be nice to be able to refly or backtrack a previously recorded track (in FiF or other utility). An example: You have hiked in the mountains with magnificent scenery, following no official trails, and recorded a GPS track. Now you like to experience the same trail from above. You load the recorded track in FiF and go flying.
Hope this makes any sense.
