FLY is FUN

On my old tablet I used to frequently get problems with the map. The map would basically become un-recognisable, with a big blob of changing colours. My route and the way points would still be visible though. Thinking that my old tablet was not powerful enough I bought a new one. Everything worked fine for 6 months but now the problem has reappeared.
Anybody have any ideas? Map data corrupt in some way?

Can you post here a screenshot? Maybe it is a rainfall radar...

You can switch it off by tapping the RRA - Rainfall Radar Age, or long press the compass rose and uncheck "Display rainfall radar"

Hi, Was up flying yesterday and tried using Fly is Fun again.
Got the same strange graphics issues after about 10 minutes of flying.
A moving pattern of strange colours and after a while the map would be OK again, then a little later the problem repeats itself.

What you see is the terrain colors depending of the plane elevation.
You can desactivate this feature
To do it
Long press on Compass Rose to call the customizing screen feature
Then uncheck the box "Display terrain (only when log is active)"
