Strange search results in Airspaces/patterns

Postby RogerF » 08 Oct 2019, 09:58

The easiest (only?) way to get to the airspaces menu is to make a long clic on the screen and to select Nearest > Nearest Airpaces.
This is how I get to the menu, even when what I want to do is to search for an airspace (based on its name) and locate it on the screen.

Maybe this is a side effect of entering the menu using "nearest", but when I enter a string and click on the "enlarger" button to search related airspaces, I get strange results:

- Only the first element corresponds to the searched string while other elements are nearest airspaces that do not not contain the searched string.
- Other airspaces matching the search are only shown when repetitively clicking on the "enlarger" button (see attached snapshot = 3 successive captures)

Two questions:
- Is there another way to get to (and search) the Airspaces database?
- Why are all matches not shown when a search is performed?

You are right. Searchíng at airspaces works different than at nav database. In one of the first versions, searching at nav database worked the same:
Search button only roll to the firs item, which match criteria. After pressing the search button again, application roll the list to display next item, etc.

I will change it, like searching in nav database.
